Sven Westerberg lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 11th minute of the match Märt Alp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Åke Nordlander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FF Små Gröna Män's Jan-Åke Nordlander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eero Kants in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, FF Små Gröna Män's goal looked a bit too open when Eero Kants came free, but Jan-Åke Nordlander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Nordlander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eero Kants's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Eero Kants who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FF Små Gröna Män's Jan-Åke Nordlander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Viplala's Eero Kants fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Bergqvist in the 17th minute of play forced FC Viplala's goalkeeper Jüri Alango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Viplala's Jüri Alango got control of the ball when Ian Ahlbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Eero Kants made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Åke Nordlander. FF Små Gröna Män's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jan-Åke Nordlander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eero Kants, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jüri Alango came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FF Små Gröna Män's Ian Ahlbom. But to his dismay, Ian Ahlbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dick Hagberg made a kick off. Jüri Alango made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Bergqvist in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Viplala's zone, Johnny Bergqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jüri Alango came out of the goal and Johnny Bergqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnny Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jüri Alango having to interfere. In the 59th minute Dick Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jüri Alango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FF Små Gröna Män booed when FC Viplala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eero Kants didn't get a good kick on the ball. FF Små Gröna Män's Jan-Åke Nordlander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FF Små Gröna Män from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, FC Viplala's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Hagberg came free, but Jüri Alango reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Johnny Bergqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. FF Små Gröna Män's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Bergqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jüri Alango breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dick Hagberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jüri Alango having to interfere. Osvald Kevade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jan-Åke Nordlander made a huge save. Svante Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jan-Åke Nordlander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvald Kevade in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Dick Hagberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FF Små Gröna Män fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Jüri Alango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the FF Små Gröna Män players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
