Jaime Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Eduard Bernátek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silverio Vachon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Eduard Bernátek made a huge save. After 7 minutes of play, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Silverio Vachon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduard Bernátek was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Jaen got free with Eduard Bernátek in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute of the match, Salvador Benitez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eduard Bernátek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Defensores de Mar de Ajó getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Braulio Perrando hit a great ball. Eduard Bernátek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Donostia in the 26th minute of the match. When Venancio Tomi fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Areco FC's protests and gave Venancio Tomi a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Areco FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Tomi. Eduard Bernátek made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Silverio Vachon sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Natalio Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Areco FC booed when Defensores de Mar de Ajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduard Bernátek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Jaen in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benja Dominguez in the 43rd minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Benedicto Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Areco FC's Benja Dominguez got a free kick in the 45th minute. Eduard Bernátek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Benitez in the 47th minute of the match. Rogelio Jaen struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Eduard Bernátek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Mar de Ajó. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Bernaldo made a kick off. Benedicto Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Tomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Eduard Bernátek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Vachon in the 56th minute of play. Silverio Vachon took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduard Bernátek. Eduard Bernátek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Eduard Bernátek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Benitez in the 64th minute of the match. Benedicto Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benja Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Salvador Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Bernátek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Jaen in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduard Bernátek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sixto Bernaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Areco FC's Eduard Bernátek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Chus in the 80th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Marcos Donostia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Rogelio Jaen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduard Bernátek. Areco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Jaen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 94th minute Silverio Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Bernátek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduard Bernátek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Defensores de Mar de Ajó were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Areco FC for a fine match.
