José Carlos Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Olivar in the 34th minute of play. If Paulo Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Cardoso having to interfere. In the 44thth minute of the game Baldomiro Olivar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velho Barreiro FC's José Carlos Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Olivar in the 46th minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper José Carlos Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulo Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

After some careless play in the Velho Barreiro FC defense, Gaspar Leguizamón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carlos Cardoso. The Velho Barreiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Cardoso should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Baldomiro Olivar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Sutura's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Xavier came free, but Rolando Sanchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Paulo Donzel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sutura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velho Barreiro FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sutura's Paulo Donzel got a free kick in the 78th minute. Paulo Donzel struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. José Carlos Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sutura. Eduardo Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Gaspar Orkatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Elano Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Sutura left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Velho Barreiro FC.
