In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilometro 30's goalkeeper Benjamin Cordeara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Marcos Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER's protests and gave Marcos Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Marcos Vargas got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ismael Medina Bello scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Cordeara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Kilometro 30 defense, Pascual Austin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Cordeara. The Kilometro 30 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Cordeara should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Austin in the 27th minute of play forced Kilometro 30's goalkeeper Benjamin Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Medina Bello struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Benjamin Cordeara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVER. 29 minutes into the match, Pascual Austin notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Kilometro 30's Benjamin Cordeara. Benjamin Cordeara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pascual Austin took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Cordeara. Benjamin Cordeara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Ismael Medina Bello sped through Kilometro 30's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Cordeara. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Medina Bello in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Cordeara saved Kilometro 30 from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Kilometro 30's Isidro Incendio got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Medina Bello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kilometro 30's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelino Afonso was slow to take the kick. During this time RIVER's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Ismael Medina Bello drilling the ball in to score 1-8 behind Kilometro 30's goalkeeper. Pascual Austins short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Benjamin Cordeara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Pascual Austin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Benjamin Cordeara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ismael Medina Bello showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 60 minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, RIVER's Pascual Austin made it 1-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Cordeara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismael Medina Bello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamin Cordeara came out and tried to block the shot, but Ismael Medina Bello slotted it home off the left post making it 1-12 in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Kilometro 30 defense, Pascual Austin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Cordeara. The Kilometro 30 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Cordeara should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Cordeara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Medina Bello, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Medina Bello in the 90th minute of play forced Kilometro 30's goalkeeper Benjamin Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Ismael Medina Bello dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benjamin Cordeara, 1-14. Basilio Pere hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Ismael Medina Bello took a quick shot and it went in 1-15 without a chance for Benjamin Cordeara to make any attempt to save it. RIVER's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
