Independiente's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Batı Özbilek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Bauer in the 15th minute of play. Independiente's Roy Huston fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Menderes Mertoğlu came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hüsmen Yiğithan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Menderes Mertoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Miguel Ángel Santoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Roy Huston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd match minute, Carno FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüsmen Yiğithan to maneuver through the defense. Güven Yaruk kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, C. A. Independiente's Conrad Carrington tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinand Bauer to make the kick off. Tolunay Tandan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A collision led to Carno FK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Hüsmen Yiğithan hit a great ball. After 71 minutes, Todd Ogden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Independiente and the Carno FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Independiente's Todd Ogden was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Carno FK booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Ogden didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, C. A. Independiente's Miguel Ángel Santoro got control of the ball when Timur Sadun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Miguel Ángel Santoro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
