The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Isazi. The crowd rose to their feet as Northern California's Jonathan Bernaldo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kauã Sarmento. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Matadores FC's Kauã Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Matadores FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Isazi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauã Sarmento was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Saldanha in the 12th minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper Domingos Savier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goalkeeper Kauã Sarmento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Isazi. Matadores FC's Kauã Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Matadores FC from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Isazi came free, but Kauã Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Matadores FC's Miguel Xavier got a free kick in the 17th minute. Kauã Sarmento was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andreas Olsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Matadores FC's Kauã Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Matadores FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Matadores FC's Kauã Sarmento got control of the ball when Sergio Heriberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faustão Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Domingos Savier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matadores FC. Kauã Sarmento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Isazi's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Anselmo Katia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kauã Sarmento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonathan Bernaldo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Isazi got free with Kauã Sarmento in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Isazi in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kauã Sarmento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 48 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Bernaldo came free, but Kauã Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Faustão Saldanha made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, Gustavo Isazi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Bernard McFrank came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Northern California fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard McFrank couldn't finish the play. Kauã Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Andreas Olsson made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Matadores FC's Kauã Sarmento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kauã Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Isazi in the 61st minute of the match. Kauã Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi in the 66th minute of play. Jonathan Bernaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matadores FC's Kauã Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Isazi in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Gustavo Isazi made a precise shot to the right of Kauã Sarmento. Matadores FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Kauã Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Isazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Kauã Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Heriberto in the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Matadores FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alexsandro Sousa hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Gustavo Isazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Gustavo Isazi got a free kick in the 88th minute. Gustavo Isazi took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kauã Sarmento. Kauã Sarmento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Gustavo Isazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kléberson Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Northern California fully deserved thier win.
