A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixten Sjö in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Maureo saved Sportivo Ben Hur from getting behind. Sixten Sjö could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ovidio Maureo made a huge save. Jonsereds IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronny Nilsson in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Maraman to make the kick off. In the 50th minute Ronny Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Jonsereds IF fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sportivo Ben Hur's goalie prevented a goal. Sixten Sjö's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Maureo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Fabio Ferdinand charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ovidio Maureo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After 83 played minutes Sportivo Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Maraman. If Sixten Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ovidio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Sjö in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Lars Hernström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
