Falcão Monteiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Yeray Lisperguer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Tanio Lezaeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falcão Monteiro. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tanio Lezaeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Falcão Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tanio Lezaeta sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute Tanio Lezaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Monteiro was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Tanio Lezaeta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tanio Lezaeta really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Tanio Lezaeta scored 5-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falcão Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tanio Lezaeta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Adolfo Halat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Yeray Lisperguer charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yeray Lisperguer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when TIMETER EC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Talcampeón FC's Adolfo Halat made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Yeray Lisperguer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. After a defensive mix-up in TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s zone, Tanio Lezaeta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Monteiro came out of the goal and Tanio Lezaeta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tanio Lezaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Monteiro having to interfere. Yeray Lisperguer hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Velloso in the 92nd minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Villa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Talcampeón FC fully deserved thier win.
