Örjan Söderström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Calleja went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 7 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Calleja came free, but Örjan Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wargön's Örjan Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zach Testaferrata Viani in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Wargön got a freekick which was hit by Roger Lundin. Leonard Calleja hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes, Kenneth Lange mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wargön and the Meerkats FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the match, Amadeo Darmanin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Örjan Söderström. Wargön's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Darmanin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Wargön's Kenneth Lange slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frederick Scicluna. That made the score 1-2 after 22 minutes of play. In the 25th minute, Leonard Calleja made a precise shot to the right of Örjan Söderström. Wargön's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 29 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Zach Gerada came free, but Örjan Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Meerkats FC got a corner. Wargön's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Portanier ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roger Lundin thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Örjan Söderström, a very annoying self made goal in the 30th minute which led to 1-4. Frederick Scicluna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sivert Bollström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 33 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Meerkats FC's zone, Kenneth Lange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederick Scicluna came out of the goal and Kenneth Lange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wargön's Örjan Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Calleja in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Zach Testaferrata Viani got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Örjan Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zach Gerada in the 51st minute of the match. If Viktor Boklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes in the game, Leonard Calleja fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Örjan Söderström having to interfere. A collision led to Meerkats FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Leonard Calleja hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Viktor Boklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wargön and the Meerkats FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wargön's Viktor Boklund got a free kick in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wargön's zone, Leonard Calleja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Örjan Söderström came out of the goal and Leonard Calleja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zach Gerada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zach Gerada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Örjan Söderström came out and tried to block the shot, but Zach Gerada slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 70th minute. Bengt-Rune Törnkvist took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederick Scicluna. Frederick Scicluna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Sivert Bollström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Musu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örjan Söderström having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Meerkats FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zach Testaferrata Viani to maneuver through the defense. Leonard Calleja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
