In the 8th minute, Jake Grayson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Heavenly Hooters's Lennie Rusby got control of the ball when Roger Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Independência Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Fazıl Özgenalp came free, but Ronaldinho Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Independência Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Byrne came free, but Ronaldinho Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Brandon Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heavenly Hooters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brandon Wright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Saverio Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Özgenalp in the 24th minute of play forced Independência Futebol's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldinho Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fazıl Özgenalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Saverio Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon Wright in the 27th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Pedro Luiz de Moraes sped through Independência Futebol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronaldinho Gaúcho. 33 minutes into the game, Saverio Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Ronaldinho Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Heavenly Hooters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Fazıl Özgenalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldinho Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Fazıl Özgenalp took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Ronaldinho Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it. Fazıl Özgenalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ronaldinho Gaúcho made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Heavenly Hooters's Pedro Luiz de Moraes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. In the 64th minute of the match, Saverio Ribeiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ronaldinho Gaúcho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Cristian Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independência Futebol's protests and gave Cristian Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Cristian Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Grayson in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Heavenly Hooters's Brandon Wright nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldinho Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. After 71st play minutes Pedro Luiz de Moraes shot 0-14, a short shot which went by Ronaldinho Gaúcho and just under the crossbar into goal. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Todd Connery replaced Pedro Luiz de Moraes. Kevin Byrne's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ronaldinho Gaúcho firmly grabbed it by the left post. 83 minutes into the game, Heavenly Hooters's Fazıl Özgenalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldinho Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-16. After some careless play in the Independência Futebol defense, Fazıl Özgenalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldinho Gaúcho. The Independência Futebol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldinho Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Diamantino de Barros struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Lennie Rusby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independência Futebol. In the 91st minute, Kevin Byrne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennie Rusby came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Independência Futebol's Roger Arruda. But to his dismay, Roger Arruda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-17. In the 96th minute of the match, Brandon Wright tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ronaldinho Gaúcho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ronaldinho Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Independência Futebol fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Heavenly Hooters were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
