Breno Simões hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. José Pedro Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Moreno in the 8th minute of play. Tiki Taka FC's Betadur Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Simões in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Eguzki Abeijon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. José Pedro Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Curiphila Eagles's Nelsinho Bastos got a free kick in the 14th minute. Tiki Taka FC's Betadur Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Bastos in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Eguzki Abeijon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Pedro Seco. The goal made the score 2-0. Iratze Abar hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Tiki Taka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betadur Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Gerber in the 31st minute of play forced Tiki Taka FC's goalkeeper Betadur Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Curiphila Eagles's Douglas Gerber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betadur Abastas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 33 played minutes Curiphila Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Caco Rosa. José Pedro Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnalt Abenda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eguzki Abeijon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Curiphila Eagles defense, Juan Carlos Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Pedro Seco. The Curiphila Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Pedro Seco should have stopped the shot. Iratze Abar struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. José Pedro Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiki Taka FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Douglas Gerber made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Juan Carlos Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ordono Abendano in the 53rd minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper José Pedro Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Pedro Seco came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiki Taka FC's Jaime Moreno. But to his dismay, Jaime Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 62 minutes into the game, Tiki Taka FC's Jaime Moreno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Pedro Seco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Tiki Taka FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Breno Simões scored to the left of an out of position Betadur Abastas, making the score, 6-2. In the 76th minute, Eguzki Abeijon made a precise shot to the right of José Pedro Seco. Curiphila Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. Tiki Taka FC's Betadur Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Simões in the 79th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Pirmin Abaunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Betadur Abastas made a huge save. Douglas Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Betadur Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Iratze Abar fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiki Taka FC's protests and gave Iratze Abar a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot by Nico Cunha from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Betadur Abastas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Curiphila Eagles's José Pedro Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eguzki Abeijon in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Eguzki Abeijon came free, but José Pedro Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curiphila Eagles's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
