But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Osorio couldn't finish the play. Sporting Mambo's Pino Maerschalckx got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, TALLERES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Osorio to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanny Van Boekost in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Cuenca saved TALLERES from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nahuel Bustos in the 24th minute of play forced Sporting Mambo's goalkeeper Waut Goons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Guaberto Fertus took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Waut Goons to make any attempt to save it. Nahuel Bustos kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Waut Goons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nahuel Bustos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Laurend Koppens kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Sporting Mambo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Armentier to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanny Van Boekost in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Cuenca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Gilles Stroobans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Guaberto Fertus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waut Goons read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Waut Goons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Fonso in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Sporting Mambo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilles Stroobans to maneuver through the defense. Mario Cuenca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pino Maerschalckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to TALLERES getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Guaberto Fertus hit a great ball. Nahuel Bustos's late challenge caught a Sporting Mambo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nahuel Bustos helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Nahuel Bustos. Stanny Van Boekost who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Mario Cuenca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. TALLERES were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sporting Mambo for a fine match.
