After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Aurelio Mameli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acilia Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Mameli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 徐鸿帆 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camillo Sciotto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 任剑益 in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 任剑益 in the 44th minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Camillo Sciotto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as 韩烽康 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camillo Sciotto. That made the score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Acilia Town's Demetrio Ciapponi was substituted for Armando Villa. Acilia Town made a substitution. Arrigo Cirelli replaced Aurelio Mameli. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 韩烽康 to strike the kick off in the second half. When Diego Garofalo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acilia Town's protests and gave Diego Garofalo a yellow card for diving instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Diego Rava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Rava in the 78th minute of play forced 上海绿地申花足球俱乐部's goalkeeper 徐鸿帆 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Acilia Town got a corner. 上海绿地申花足球俱乐部's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Garofalo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Diego Garofalo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 徐鸿帆 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Camillo Sciotto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柯卫枫 in the 83rd minute of play. If 于奕宇 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, Acilia Town's goal looked a bit too open when 柯卫枫 came free, but Camillo Sciotto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game 韩烽康 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acilia Town's Camillo Sciotto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Acilia Town's zone, 韩烽康 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camillo Sciotto came out of the goal and 韩烽康 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Acilia Town's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
