Kire Irving made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Ezequiel Blasi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Quebrachitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Blasi couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Anthonio Zeppeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kire Irving saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Raymond in the 17th minute of play forced Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Kire Irving to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Quebrachitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthonio Zeppeli charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthonio Zeppeli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Anthonio Zeppeli. Marcell Pécsi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Somarriba having to make a save. Tiago Somarriba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcell Pécsi in the 20th minute of play. Kire Irving took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew Murguia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Marcell Pécsi hit a great ball. Kire Irving made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthew Murguia in the 26th minute of play. Celso Ayala hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Marcell Pécsi came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Quebrachitos FC fans jumped to their feet. Tiago Somarriba was a little too slow when Jeremias Librado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcell Pécsi came free, but Tiago Somarriba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthew Murguia came free, but Kire Irving reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kire Irving made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastiano Cañon in the 46th minute of play. Enrique Neron kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matthew Murguia was the one to do the kick off. Marcell Pécsi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Somarriba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthonio Zeppeli got free with Kire Irving in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ defense, Marcell Pécsi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Somarriba. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Somarriba should have stopped the shot. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Ximenes Arganzua was substituted for Matthew Murguia. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Cordarrol Giorno was substituted for Sebastiano Cañon. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. Marcell Pécsi ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiago Somarriba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcell Pécsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcell Pécsi in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Somarriba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anthonio Zeppeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kire Irving having to interfere. Quebrachitos FC made a substitution. Octavio Ortzi replaced Ciriaco Abaunza. In the 77th minute, Octavio Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Lino Raymond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Quebrachitos FC's Kevin Durant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emmanuel Vilaprenyo in the 81 minute of the game. After 88 minutes, Marcell Pécsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrachitos FC and the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcell Pécsi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Kire Irving showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximenes Arganzua, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
