Daniel Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthew Murguia in the 13th minute of play. Tiago Somarriba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Victorino Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Somarriba. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 28th match minute, Majadita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Marques to maneuver through the defense. Matthew Murguia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Benvido came out and tried to block the shot, but Matthew Murguia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 29th minute. Tiago Somarriba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Abechuco in the 34th minute of play. Tiago Somarriba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Matthew Murguia in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Anthonio Zeppeli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Melchor Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 70th minute, Ximenes Arganzua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Benvido was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. After a defensive mix-up in ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s zone, Mateo Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Somarriba came out of the goal and Mateo Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Tiago Somarriba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Abechuco in the 76th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Tiago Somarriba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 86 minutes into the match, Majadita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenes Arganzua came free, but Daniel Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordarrol Giorno in the 88th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Majadita FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Abechuco. Daniel Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenes Arganzua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Victorino Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Somarriba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarrol Giorno to maneuver through the defense. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
