A sloppy throw-in by Luciano Jobo in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Quebrachitos FC's Kevin Durant. Gerardo Urti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Kire Irving made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Ezequiel Blasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Abaunza's late challenge caught a Majadita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Abaunza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ciriaco Abaunza hit a great ball. Kire Irving took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Marcell Pécsi took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Benvido. Daniel Benvido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Quebrachitos FC's Ezequiel Blasi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Benvido. That made the score 2-3 after 60 minutes of play. Majadita FC made a substitution. Matias Naike replaced Gerardo Urti. Quebrachitos FC's Kevin Durant managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luciano Jobo in the 64 minute of the game. Quebrachitos FC made a substitution. Octavio Ortzi replaced Ciriaco Abaunza. Kire Irving showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 95th minute, Majadita FC's Alvaro Nayely seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alvaro Nayely the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Majadita FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alvaro Nayely had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Alvaro Nayely hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Tadeu Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebrachitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
