In the 14th minute Michel Platini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Colmano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manolito Baumann hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Wladyslaw Rzeszutek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifatius Scarano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Rembertów DJs's Wladyslaw Rzeszutek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Hertzog in the 52nd minute of play. David Colmano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Bielatowicz in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Rembertów DJs were awarded a corner. Wieslaw Bielatowicz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Rembertów DJs's Michel Platini getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rembertów DJs's attentive Gilbert Tarasek managed to snatch the ball when Ferris Büchel made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. If Wieslaw Bielatowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Bielatowicz in the 61st minute of play forced 1. FC Union Weberei's goalkeeper David Colmano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuliano Baumann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Wladyslaw Rzeszutek made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Wieslaw Bielatowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Colmano. 1.
