The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vaccean Warriors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Otsoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Otsoa in the 31st minute of play forced Vaccean Warriors's goalkeeper Martino Segarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martino Segarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Harlén in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Hortensia FCG were awarded a corner. Sten Harlén went to the cornerflag to take it. Dave Lorenzi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Dave Lorenzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martino Segarra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Lorenzi ran back to his position shaking his head. Sten Harlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martino Segarra having to interfere. Martino Segarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Otsoa's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Hortensia FCG booed when Vaccean Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubarna Pareja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martino Segarra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Boleslaw Charlap showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 52 minute of play. Mauro Otsoa struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Martino Segarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hortensia FCG. Martino Segarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Charlap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaccean Warriors's Martino Segarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Otsoa in the 58th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Dave Lorenzi rounded Vaccean Warriors's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. In the 64th minute, Mauro Otsoa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martino Segarra. The goal made the score 0-10. Martino Segarra came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Hortensia FCG's Mauro Otsoa. But to his dismay, Mauro Otsoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Otsoa in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martino Segarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the game, Mauro Otsoa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martino Segarra. Mauro Otsoa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boleslaw Charlap in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martino Segarra saved Vaccean Warriors from getting behind. Mauro Otsoa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martino Segarra came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Otsoa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 79th minute. If Boleslaw Charlap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Hortensia FCG's Mauro Otsoa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martino Segarra. Martino Segarra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. Martino Segarra came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Hortensia FCG's Mauro Otsoa. But to his dismay, Mauro Otsoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. Mauro Otsoa scored 0-16 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martino Segarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Hortensia FCG's Mauro Otsoa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martino Segarra. Martino Segarra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-17. Hortensia FCG played a much better game than Vaccean Warriors and deserved their victory. The Vaccean Warriors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
