Paulo Valério's late challenge caught a SC Pfullendorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Valério helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Paulo Valério hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KINDERUZ's Paulo Valério got his second yellow card of the match in the 8th minute. The referee ordered Paulo Valério off the ground. KINDERUZ's Manuel Neuer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save KINDERUZ from getting a goal against them. Bruno Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Salvador Rajoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Carlos Pacheco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pfullendorf's Salvador Rajoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KINDERUZ's Besim Yersel got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Salvador Rajoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eusébio Lamego kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Presebal Japón managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pfullendorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Presebal Japón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Neuer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marquez Tobias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Neuer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marquez Tobias. After 44 played minutes KINDERUZ got a freekick which was hit by António Bandeira. 47 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Presebal Japón. In the 48th minute, Bruno Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Rajoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. SC Pfullendorf made a substitution. Hanot Feliu replaced Bras Odín. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Presebal Japón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Marquez Tobias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KINDERUZ's Manuel Neuer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KINDERUZ's Manuel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximo Tobias in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of SC Pfullendorf booed when KINDERUZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aparício Azeredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KINDERUZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
