The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Balkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aadolf Myllynen kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Janusz Andrychowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst skillfully saved the ball. Kasperi Puurula charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kasperi Puurula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Kasperi Puurula got a free kick in the 9th minute. Grzegorz Skikiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iikka Haapaniemi in the 12th minute of play. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Grzegorz Skikiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iikka Haapaniemi in the 15th minute of play. Iikka Haapaniemi scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grzegorz Skikiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugeniusz Turek went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Iikka Haapaniemi took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Skikiewicz. Grzegorz Skikiewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Tuukka Liimatainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes in the game, Eugeniusz Turek fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst having to interfere. Grzegorz Skikiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iikka Haapaniemi in the 38th minute of the match. If Tuukka Liimatainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iikka Haapaniemi took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Skikiewicz. Grzegorz Skikiewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kazimierz Miazga was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Ilmo Kaven recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Grzegorz Skikiewicz. Ilmo Kaven showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Ilmo Kaven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grzegorz Skikiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilmo Kaven in the 63rd minute of play. Tuukka Liimatainen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Grzegorz Skikiewicz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 66th minute Iikka Haapaniemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Skikiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Grzegorz Skikiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tuukka Liimatainen. Grzegorz Skikiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilmo Kaven in the 69th minute of play. Leonard Balkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Ulryk Mochowak fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's protests and gave Ulryk Mochowak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Mochowak to maneuver through the defense. Grzegorz Skikiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iikka Haapaniemi in the 83rd minute of the match. Grzegorz Skikiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tarmo Heikkinen in the 87th minute. After 90 played minutes Ilmo Kaven rounded ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. Kasperi Puurula hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugeniusz Turek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Liverpool FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
