Lucas Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Neiva came free, but Claes Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Åke Sjöman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Marcos Saraiva made a huge save. Waldemar Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Sandström having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Lucas Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boomerang Bombers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Abrahamsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claes Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Lendaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Lendaa scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claes Sandström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd match minute, Boomerang Bombers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Sjöman to maneuver through the defense. If Lucas Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Augusto Lendaa fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mukifus FSCMZ's protests and gave Augusto Lendaa a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Paulo Neiva was the one to do the kick off. After 60 played minutes Mukifus FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Lendaa. Claes Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Sabóia in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mukifus FSCMZ's Antônio Carlos Tróia got a free kick in the 64th minute. Lucas Abrahamsson struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Marcos Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boomerang Bombers. In the 73rd minute, Antônio Carlos Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Boomerang Bombers's Roy Vallgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Saraiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 89th minute, Alexander Wahlnäs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 minutes, Henning Hansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boomerang Bombers and the Mukifus FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card.
