In the 16th minute Denimir Slabakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayati Işık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denimir Slabakov got free with Hayati Işık in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Navigators's goal looked a bit too open when Denimir Slabakov came free, but Hayati Işık reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Lalchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Kelaidonis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Lalchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Kelaidonis in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, MANCHESTER UNITED's Gerasim Yankulov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gerasim Yankulov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MANCHESTER UNITED protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gerasim Yankulov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 32 minutes into the game, one of MANCHESTER UNITED:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 39 minutes into the match, Navigators's goalkeeper Hayati Işık had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doncho Siromahov. In the 43rd minute, Denimir Slabakov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hayati Işık was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rusi Hetemov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Hayati Işık skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Anton Lalchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükrü Yelesen in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Navigators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şükrü Yelesen to maneuver through the defense. Navigators made a substitution. Habib Mennan replaced Şükrü Yelesen. Denimir Slabakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. MANCHESTER UNITED's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
