An unexpectedly hard shot by Vencho Hristoskov in the 39th minute of play forced Fc S.Zaharesti's goalkeeper Marcel Noica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Noica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evrosi Zdravkov in the 41st minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mădălin Vintilescu was the one to do the kick off. Ivo Suvandzhiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marcel Noica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Mădălin Vintilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanko Karaivanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manole Firu made a great header on Fc S.Zaharesti's corner, it was just that DOROSTOL Ss's Yanko Karaivanov managed to reach the ball for a save. 64 minutes into the game, DOROSTOL Ss's Kiril Kratunkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Noica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 85th minute, DOROSTOL Ss's Kostadin Desov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcel Noica. Marcel Noica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 88th minute, Mădălin Vintilescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The DOROSTOL Ss supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DOROSTOL Ss would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
