Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kjetil-André Bertelsen took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Laniakea getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Eilert Nordlie hit a great ball. Trevor Burns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Jostein Skjerping in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Laniakea getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jan-Aage Ringstad hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match, Hans-Erik Osland got a very nice opportunity to score, but Trevor Burns was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Johannes Sønsteby came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dorking United FC's Pete Pope. But to his dismay, Pete Pope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Laniakea's Johannes Sønsteby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Dimmock in the 26th minute of play. Frode Nyheim kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Laniakea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Erik Osland to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd match minute, Laniakea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frode Nyheim to maneuver through the defense. Johannes Sønsteby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Pope in the 34th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Trevor Burns successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 43rd minute of the match, Hans-Erik Osland got a very nice opportunity to score, but Trevor Burns was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ralph Lumb hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Laniakea's Even Dahl got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pete Pope to make the kick off. Pete Pope in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Johannes Sønsteby, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 53 played minutes Laniakea got a freekick which was hit by Idar Kvale. In the 55th match minute, Laniakea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ole-Jostein Skjerping to maneuver through the defense. Trevor Burns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil-André Bertelsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Dorking United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kjetil-André Bertelsen came free, but Trevor Burns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kjetil-André Bertelsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trevor Burns was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Darius Dimmock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Sønsteby was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 73 minutes into the match, Laniakea's Ole-Jostein Skjerping sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trevor Burns narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Laniakea fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Laniakea's Kjetil-André Bertelsen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dorking United FC! In the 82nd minute of the match Mike Jefferies shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johannes Sønsteby showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 84th minute Darius Dimmock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Sønsteby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Sparks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute, Tommy Sparks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Dorking United FC's Keanu Durrant got a free kick in the 94th minute. Trevor Burns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eilert Nordlie, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Dorking United FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dorking United FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
