Trevor Burns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosius Spangsbo in the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Dorking United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Elletoft came free, but Trevor Burns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pete Pope who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Loui Stubbergaard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Tommy Sparks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Dorking United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosius Spangsbo came free, but Trevor Burns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Elletoft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Trevor Burns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loui Stubbergaard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pete Pope's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Ralph Lumb's late challenge caught a Nordvest Fodbold's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralph Lumb helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nordvest Fodbold booed when Dorking United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Lumb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nordvest Fodbold's Augustin Angantyr took a good shot, in the 75th minute, which hit the crossbar above Trevor Burns's head, and flew over the goal. Dorking United FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Nordvest Fodbold. After 76 played minutes Dorking United FC got a freekick which was hit by Russ Murray. The Dorking United FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nordvest Fodbold were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
