With a little luck, Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes got control of the ball when Joaquim Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. With splendid footwork Oséias Severo arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 6th minute. After 8 minutes of play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Oséias Severo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Desportivo Coala defense, Dudu Pinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Hermes. The Desportivo Coala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Hermes should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Oséias Severo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guilherme Hermes. That made the score 5-0 in the 25 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Dudu Pinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Desportivo Coala's Carlos Eduardo Figueiredo got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 31st play minutes Oséias Severo shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Guilherme Hermes and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 36th minute of the match, Oséias Severo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guilherme Hermes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Desportivo Coala from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the game, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Joaquim Félix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Cardozo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Félix in the 55th minute of play forced Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper Guilherme Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséias Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Guilherme Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Dedê Trancoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Guilherme Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Guilherme Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquim Félix went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute Oséias Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Joaquim Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Félix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guilherme Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Pinho in the 76th minute of the match. Guilherme Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Severo in the 79th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Oséias Severo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Guilherme Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guilherme Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Félix in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Pinho in the 92nd minute of play forced Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper Guilherme Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Yan Falcão notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes. Guilherme Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ibirama Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
