The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Eduard Angheloiu put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Erasto. If Vali Piţurcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Ramiro Erasto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Baican. 15 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Presebal came free, but Marian Curtean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Erasto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Angheloiu in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match -BZF- Viitorul Buzau got a corner. Los Muchachos del 86's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicodim Vătăşel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Nicodim Vătăşel to fire away a dangerous shot which Ramiro Erasto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Eduard Angheloiu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto. Ramiro Erasto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramiro Erasto was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Eduard Angheloiu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eduard Angheloiu really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Angheloiu got free with Ramiro Erasto in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36thth minute of the game Eduard Angheloiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramiro Erasto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Angheloiu in the 40th minute. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Muchachos del 86! Ramiro Erasto had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Nicodim Vătăşel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball The crowd rose to their feet as -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Nicodim Vătăşel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ramiro Erasto. That made the score 5-0 after 43 minutes of play. In the 45th minute, Gelu Brăescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santo Blanco made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Claudiu Negrițoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Erasto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Los Muchachos del 86's zone, Moise Robu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Erasto came out of the goal and Moise Robu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Eduard Angheloiu in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Muchachos del 86's goalie prevented a goal. Generoso Abreu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodim Vătăşel in the 70th minute of play. Eduard Angheloiu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Eduard Angheloiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Erasto was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When Vali Piţurcă came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vali Piţurcă couldn't finish the play. Ramiro Erasto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodim Vătăşel, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Angheloiu in the 80th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Ramiro Erasto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Vătăşel in the 81st minute of the match.
