The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Latające Siekiery's Napoleon Malewicki got a free kick in the 6th minute. Karl-Michael Melin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Lukasz Pawelczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miromir Skwira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarl Bruse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Fernström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Koperski, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, FC Latające Siekiery's Marcin Nigbor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charles Fernström. Charles Fernström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Koperski came free, but Charles Fernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Filip Koperski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BV Borussia Hammarby's Charles Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Sawicki in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Marcin Nigbor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, FC Latające Siekiery's Waldemar Andrzejewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Fernström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Miromir Skwira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Bremming in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Marcin Nigbor made the kick off in the second half. Filip Koperski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Waldemar Andrzejewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charles Fernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Koperski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
