In the 21st minute Izydor Gdowik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jozef Hemeleers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gertjan Koenens hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jozef Hemeleers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Gdowik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barnaba Nieuzyla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yanis Devriendt went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The Winksele 2016 fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Winksele 2016's Yanis Devriendt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Edmund Tarasek hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Winksele 2016's Romeu Cabral broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
