Dumitru Nedelciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Tihane, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Punane Vänt's Eikki Vaha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dumitru Nedelciu. That made the score 1-1 after 35 minutes of play. The supporters of FC Liverpool YnWa booed when FC Punane Vänt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eino Salumäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Alexandru Anton notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Punane Vänt's Mario Valdmets. Mario Valdmets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 48 minutes into the match, FC Punane Vänt's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Ipate came free, but Mario Valdmets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henri Tihane to make the kick off. Mario Valdmets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Anton in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Punane Vänt's zone, Ionuț Șipoș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Valdmets came out of the goal and Ionuț Șipoș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Valdmets didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucian Ipate went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Alexandru Anton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panait Teodoroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Dumitru Nedelciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eino Salumäe in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Ionuț Șipoș reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mario Valdmets. The goal made the score 3-5. FC Liverpool YnWa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
