FC Punane Vänt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Hassan Huerta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mario Valdmets, 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, FC Punane Vänt's goalkeeper Mario Valdmets had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenio Urbina. Mario Valdmets was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Burni Justo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Burni Justo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. FC Punane Vänt's Mario Valdmets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Lastras in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Eugenio Urbina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Valdmets was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After having played for 23 minutes, Evelio Lastras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Club Celta de Vigo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Lastras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Club Celta de Vigo's Hassan Huerta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mario Valdmets. That made the score 5-0 after 24 minutes of play. Hassan Huerta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Valdmets came out and tried to block the shot, but Hassan Huerta slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 29th minute. Mario Valdmets was a little too slow when Eugenio Urbina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 7-0. In the 40th minute Burni Justo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Valdmets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Urbina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Mario Valdmets skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Mario Valdmets successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

Mario Valdmets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Urbina in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the game, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Burni Justo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Valdmets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When Eikki Vaha fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Punane Vänt's protests and gave Eikki Vaha a yellow card for diving instead. Eikki Vaha kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Mateo Lopez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 59th minute Burni Justo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Valdmets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, FC Punane Vänt's goal looked a bit too open when Burni Justo came free, but Mario Valdmets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Punane Vänt defense, Romo Unzueta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Valdmets. The FC Punane Vänt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Valdmets should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Burni Justo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Valdmets saved FC Punane Vänt from getting behind. When Magnus Pihl fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Punane Vänt's protests and gave Magnus Pihl a yellow card for diving instead.
