Edmondo Pittelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaggelos Kostantelos having to interfere. Evaggelos Kostantelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmondo Pittelli's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Santoryu FC got a corner. TZITZIFIES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aurelio Martorella ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmondo Pittelli in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaggelos Kostantelos saved TZITZIFIES from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giorgos Bogdanos during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Giorgos Bogdanos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trifon Chalkias to make the kick off.
