Gaspar Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ksawery Kornasiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Obrero Barquisimeto's zone, Beven Carmichael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Torres came out of the goal and Beven Carmichael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Obrero Barquisimeto's Marcos Akerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliusz Frankowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. APPLE KIELCE 1985 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
