Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Stars Academy's Américo Albuquerque started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Xosepe Iñigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ornopata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 11th minute, Américo Albuquerque made a precise shot to the right of Obregón Busto. Ornopata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, Américo Albuquerque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Obregón Busto. Ornopata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo Albuquerque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 17 minutes into the match, Stars Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Zuriko Bernaldo came free, but Germano Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Stars Academy getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Albérico Bacelar hit a great ball. Obregón Busto came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Stars Academy's António Cortez. But to his dismay, António Cortez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 23 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Checa Travieso. William Enebro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Ornopata booed when Stars Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zuriko Bernaldo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Armando Salto charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Salto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Ornopata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Salto to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Zuriko Bernaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Germano Carmona. Stars Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zuriko Bernaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Germano Carmona made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Zuriko Bernaldo sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, William Enebro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Zuriko Bernaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Américo Albuquerque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stars Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. After the first half Stars Academy were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zuriko Bernaldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Stars Academy got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Carrasqueira. 58 minutes into the match, Américo Albuquerque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Obregón Busto. Ornopata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo Albuquerque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Germano Carmona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuriko Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ornopata were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Stars Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yépez Abrea took the corner. The corner ended in Yépez Abrea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stars Academy's Germano Carmona did a great save. Germano Carmona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xosepe Iñigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Germano Carmona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuriko Bernaldo in the 80th minute of play. Jairo Carrasqueira hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Inda in the 81st minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Germano Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Carmona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuriko Bernaldo in the 86th minute of the match. Rogerio Logares hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Stars Academy booed when Ornopata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Enebro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nivaldo Bulhosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ornopata getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Zuriko Bernaldo hit a great ball. After having played for 98 minutes, Zuriko Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ornopata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zuriko Bernaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
