After having played for 10 minutes, Luís de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 『挑战者』上海光明队's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís de Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jairo Carrasqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stars Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Carrasqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 徐崇源 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jairo Carrasqueira struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. 徐崇源 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stars Academy. In the 28th match minute, 『挑战者』上海光明队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 余益南 to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Leal Novais notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stars Academy's Germano Carmona. Germano Carmona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Américo Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Stars Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. Leal Novais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germano Carmona came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by 『挑战者』上海光明队's 姚峰战. But to his dismay, 姚峰战 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 47th minute Luís de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Carmona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Américo Albuquerque made a kick off. In the 55th play minute Leal Novais came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Germano Carmona. 0-4. When 姚峰战 came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the 『挑战者』上海光明队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 姚峰战 couldn't finish the play. Salvador Sobral kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Leal Novais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Germano Carmona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Germano Carmona managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when 『挑战者』上海光明队's Leal Novais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 71st minute, Jairo Carrasqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Carmona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís de Brito in the 72nd minute of play. 『挑战者』上海光明队 were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Stars Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leal Novais took the corner. Luís de Brito made a great header on 『挑战者』上海光明队's corner, it was just that Stars Academy's Germano Carmona managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leal Novais in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Carmona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes of play, 『挑战者』上海光明队's Luís de Brito made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Carmona was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 82 in the game by Leal Novais from a close distance when the talented Germano Carmona managed to make a qualified save. Stars Academy's players were relieved. Germano Carmona was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leal Novais showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 83 minute of play. Leal Novais received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Germano Carmona came out and tried to block the shot, but Leal Novais slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 88th minute. Germano Carmona made an important save on a dangerous shot by 姚峰战 in the 91st minute. Leal Novais was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 『挑战者』上海光明队 played a much better game than Stars Academy and deserved their victory. The Stars Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
