After 14 played minutes The Everett Hawks got a freekick which was hit by Merle Rodriguez. In the 15th minute Marcelo Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristof Huysmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Diederiek De Pauw managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Everett Hawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Diederiek De Pauw was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Sauveur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Ursino in the 42nd minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Kristof Huysmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, The Everett Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merle Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Van Gijsel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Elias Maurin hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Ernesto Venceslao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 75th minute of the match, Jonatan Ursino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristof Huysmans saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 82 minutes, Ritchie Neirynck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Everett Hawks and the Errecaborda AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to The Everett Hawks getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ritchie Neirynck hit a great ball. Marcelo Eztebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Kristof Huysmans made a huge save. In the 86th minute Marcelo Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristof Huysmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes The Everett Hawks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonatan Ursino who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Errecaborda AFC's corner Jonatan Ursino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kristof Huysmans quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Venceslao got free with Kristof Huysmans in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Everett Hawks's Kristof Huysmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save The Everett Hawks from getting a goal against them.
