Deukalion Sotiris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gualter Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deukalion Sotiris was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Yuri Cordeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yuri Cordeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Marco Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deukalion Sotiris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agostinho Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agostinho Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deukalion Sotiris having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Mathias Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Aloísio Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Ruvelas in the 36th minute of play. Telis Giannakakos kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of OMONOIA booed when Maxaranguape - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telis Giannakakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Aloísio Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vaggelis Ruvelas made the kick off in the second half. Agostinho Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deukalion Sotiris having to interfere. Agostinho Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Yuri Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Maxaranguape - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. Agostinho Moreno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deukalion Sotiris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Gualter Mattos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, Gualter Mattos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Deukalion Sotiris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nikos Petrakos hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Deukalion Sotiris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
