Aloísio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Goren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Gallardo came free, but Aloísio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gualter Mattos fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's protests and gave Gualter Mattos a yellow card for diving instead. Aloísio Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Karlo in the 20th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Goren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aloísio Arruda was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Karlo in the 23rd minute of play forced Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Aloísio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Beremundo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The referee showed Mathias Mattos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonel Karlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Aloísio Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Leonel Karlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aloísio Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Angel Comizzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maxaranguape - FSCMZ. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Quentin in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aloísio Arruda saved Maxaranguape - FSCMZ from getting behind. Aristides Beremundo charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Beremundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Aristides Beremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
