Jarl Axelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anier Venceslao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Abalos to strike the kick off in the second half. Matias Checa's late challenge caught a Sundborn IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Volvio Moreno defense, Stellan Wallmark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Venceslao. The Volvio Moreno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Venceslao should have stopped the shot. If Stellan Wallmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sundborn IF's Sven Lind got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Axelsson in the 82nd minute of play forced Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Anier Venceslao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Higinio Romano came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Volvio Moreno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Romano couldn't finish the play. If Sven Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anier Venceslao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Lind in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Romano came free, but Emil Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Baldomero Martinez fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volvio Moreno's protests and gave Baldomero Martinez a yellow card for diving instead. Baldomero Martinez hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Emil Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Mano, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
