Leo Axisa charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 8th minute, Tobias Möckli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Swatar United FC's Luke Preca didn't even have to move. When Michael Borg Xuereb fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swatar United FC's protests and gave Michael Borg Xuereb a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Swatar United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Borg Xuereb to maneuver through the defense. Luke Preca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hoàng Thuy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Preca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Neto in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hoàng Thuy in the 16th minute of play forced Swatar United FC's goalkeeper Luke Preca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Neto took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luke Preca. Luke Preca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luke Preca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hoàng Thuy in the 20th minute of the match. When Uno Mille FC's Igor Neto in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Swatar United FC's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Swatar United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hoàng Thuy came free, but Luke Preca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Swatar United FC's Luke Preca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Pires in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Hoàng Thuy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uno Mille FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Swatar United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luke Preca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Pires went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Abela made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Swatar United FC's goalkeeper Luke Preca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Neto. In the 58th minute of the match Uno Mille FC got a corner. Swatar United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobias Möckli ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 60th minute, Hoàng Thuy made a precise shot to the right of Luke Preca. Swatar United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Swatar United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Hoàng Thuy scored to the left of an out of position Luke Preca, making the score, 0-8. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Neto in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luke Preca saved Swatar United FC from getting behind. Luke Preca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hoàng Thuy in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Uno Mille FC's Hoàng Thuy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luke Preca. Luke Preca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Swatar United FC's Luke Preca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Swatar United FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Swatar United FC's Luke Preca got control of the ball when Igor Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Pires received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luke Preca came out and tried to block the shot, but Jorge Pires slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 78th minute. From a short distance, Uno Mille FC's Aaron Sayveon, in the 81st minute, tried to place the ball behind Luke Preca, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Sayveon in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luke Preca saved Swatar United FC from getting behind. Igor Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Luke Preca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hoàng Thuy in the 83rd minute of play. Luke Preca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Pires went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Igor Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Luke Preca made a huge save. Angelo Abela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Borg Xuereb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Preca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Neto went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. Luke Preca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hoàng Thuy in the 98th minute of play. Uno Mille FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
