Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה were furious when Zacarias Cordeiro was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 38 played minutes Elohay Elohim אלוהי אלוה got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Cordeiro. In the 43rd minute, Horaţiu Dinulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pavel Haaland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Benedicto Elodio made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonides Piarres to make the kick off. Dario Chinto charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Chinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benedicto Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Pietreanu in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
