Spectators: 177 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matei Onaca got the match started through his kick off. After 7 minutes, Irinel Itoafă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stiinta-Univ. and the Olympiacos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Irinel Itoafă hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Theofilos Touboulis came free, but Denis Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Ghee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Ntountas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Soufleris, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Olympiacos FC's Theofilos Touboulis in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stiinta-Univ.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 19thth minute of the game Dimitris Koudas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stiinta-Univ.'s Denis Ghee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Panos Ntountas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Denis Ghee was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Giorgos Soufleris hit a great ball. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Costin Cuculeanu hit a great ball. Olympiacos FC made a substitution. Eustratios Vertsotis replaced Fotis Nousias. Denis Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soulis Partalis in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Olympiacos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Theofilos Touboulis made the kick off in the second half. Denis Ghee made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Panos Ntountas sent off a good shot on target. Denis Ghee came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Olympiacos FC's Soulis Partalis. But to his dismay, Soulis Partalis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 58th minute, Panos Ntountas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Denis Ghee. The goal made the score 0-3. Xosé Lim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Denis Ghee skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stiinta-Univ.'s Matei Onaca got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Xosé Lim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Panos Ntountas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympiacos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Panos Ntountas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Ghee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Theofilos Touboulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olympiacos FC played a much better game than Stiinta-Univ. and deserved their victory. The Stiinta-Univ. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
