Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomone Weber in the 16th minute of the match. Serbülent Baysan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Schmid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes, Alex Ioneasa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espen Steelers and the FC Anderlecht Huachipato players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Vitaliy Fedchenko got a free kick in the 24th minute. Fabian Schär could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Serbülent Baysan made a huge save. Nikola Portner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baumar Ontanilla in the 31st minute of the match. Serbülent Baysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Einstein in the 40th minute of play. Espen Steelers:s Nikola Portner showed great skill when he stopped Stojan Krhan:s penalty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fabian Schär made the kick off in the second half. Salomone Weber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Serbülent Baysan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Albert Einstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serbülent Baysan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giancarlo Weissmuller went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 61 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Giancarlo Weissmuller. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Stojan Krhan got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitaliy Fedchenko in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stojan Krhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Victorio Monte was substituted for Baumar Ontanilla. After a defensive mix-up in FC Anderlecht Huachipato's zone, Andres Ambühl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serbülent Baysan came out of the goal and Andres Ambühl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Espen Steelers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
