In the 14thth minute of the game Gilberto Guadamuz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O-TT-O's Walter Leisted was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilmer Villareal's late challenge caught a O-TT-O's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilmer Villareal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Wilmer Villareal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otto Stribs short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Efrain Arnaez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in PUNTARENAS F.C's zone, Justin Dyrts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Arnaez came out of the goal and Justin Dyrts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of PUNTARENAS F.C booed when O-TT-O was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valther Åmølle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes O-TT-O's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Carazo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that David Carazo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Walter Leisted quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When PUNTARENAS F.C's Gilberto Guadamuz in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye O-TT-O's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Otto Strib put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Efrain Arnaez. In the 42nd minute, O-TT-O's Otto Strib dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

PUNTARENAS F.C's Daniel Cartin was substituted for David Carazo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otto Strib to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Otto Strib made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. PUNTARENAS F.C's Efrain Arnaez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Efrain Arnaez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otto Strib's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Valther Åmølle charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valther Åmølle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, O-TT-O's Valther Åmølle got a free kick in the 59th minute. Walter Leisted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olger Porras in the 61st minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Olger Porras tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Walter Leisted saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 70thth minute of the game Justin Dyrts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PUNTARENAS F.C's Efrain Arnaez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes PUNTARENAS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Sanabria. When Otto Strib, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 74 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Efrain Arnaez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Efrain Arnaez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Dyrts in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PUNTARENAS F.C's Olger Porras got a free kick in the 76th minute. Otto Strib might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Arnaez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otto Strib ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute Mattias Hessling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Arnaez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Otto Strib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Ilfeldt in the 84th minute of play forced PUNTARENAS F.C's goalkeeper Efrain Arnaez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otto Strib scored 4-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Arnaez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. O-TT-O's Walter Leisted proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save O-TT-O from getting a goal against them. In the 96thth minute of the game Justin Dyrts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PUNTARENAS F.C's Efrain Arnaez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Otto Strib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. O-TT-O were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of PUNTARENAS F.C for a fine match.
