In the 16th minute of the match, Hugon Kilar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teofilo Gonsalve saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Teofilo Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Purzycki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patryk Modliszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Teofilo Gonsalve made a huge save. Teofilo Gonsalve didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Purzycki went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Ryszard Purzycki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teofilo Gonsalve. That made the score 3-1 in the 31 minute of play. A collision led to KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tomasz Wisniewski hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Wisniewski got free with Teofilo Gonsalve in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Tomasz Wisniewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teofilo Gonsalve. That made the score 4-2 after 40 minutes of play. Teofilo Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Wisniewski in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Purzycki came free, but Teofilo Gonsalve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, El Gallo de Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Firme to maneuver through the defense.

The KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. The referee showed Tomasz Wisniewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of El Gallo de Moron booed when KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Wisniewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Gallo de Moron's Teofilo Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Wisniewski in the 96th minute of play. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
