After having played for 2 minutes, Benito Txeru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACF Fiorentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Txeru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Ambrosio Bernat in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tabalongo AFC's Máximo Cumplido. After a rather tough play, Tabalongo AFC's César Larraechea got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Bernat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sebastián Dell´Orto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the game, Tabalongo AFC's Marcos Soffia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmiro Pitin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Sebastián Dell´Orto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Flavio Orden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Pitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Soffia in the 19th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Eber Larralde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ACF Fiorentina's Delmiro Pitin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Eber Larralde sped through ACF Fiorentina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delmiro Pitin. Sebastián Dell´Orto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Bernat in the 30th minute of play. ACF Fiorentina's Delmiro Pitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save ACF Fiorentina from getting a goal against them. Eber Larralde did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Delmiro Pitin 32 minutes into the match. Eber Larralde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Orden, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Delmiro Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eber Larralde in the 41st minute of the match. Tabalongo AFC's Sebastián Dell´Orto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Cristofol in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Eutropio in the 44th minute of play forced Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Sebastián Dell´Orto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes, ACF Fiorentina's Angel Cristofol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastián Dell´Orto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ACF Fiorentina reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Eutropio was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, ACF Fiorentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Kiliz to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Esteban Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Dell´Orto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tabalongo AFC's Sebastián Dell´Orto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Eutropio in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Bernat got free with Sebastián Dell´Orto in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Cumplido in the 58th minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Delmiro Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eber Larralde took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Pitin. Delmiro Pitin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. ACF Fiorentina's Braulio Cresconio was substituted for Ambrosio Bernat. In the 66th minute, ACF Fiorentina's Angel Cristofol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. 70 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Eber Larralde came free, but Delmiro Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Sebastián Dell´Orto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Eutropio. Salvador Maraman hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Sebastián Dell´Orto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th minute of the match, Angel Cristofol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastián Dell´Orto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Flavio Orden hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Angel Cristofol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastián Dell´Orto was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Esteban Eutropio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Sebastián Dell´Orto made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tabalongo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ACF Fiorentina had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
