Enrico Cicero was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC Viola Gigliati's players had a chance to rest. Ralondo Barboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Martelli in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes AFC Viola Gigliati got a freekick which was hit by Santio Marco. After having played for 27 minutes, Franco Martelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Ulani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Martelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Fc Ulani's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Balotelli came free, but Przemyslaw Snaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeusz Golembiewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralondo Barboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Kurt Hamrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Przemyslaw Snaza having to interfere. AFC Viola Gigliati's Ralondo Barboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Martelli in the 36th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Balotelli to make the kick off. Olgierd Domala hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Przemyslaw Snaza made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Mario Balotelli sent off a good shot on target. Franco Martelli struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ralondo Barboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Ulani. AFC Viola Gigliati's Pacifico Villazan was substituted for Guillermo Barzana. Mario Balotelli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Przemyslaw Snaza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot by Enrico Cicero from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Przemyslaw Snaza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 84th minute Franco Martelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralondo Barboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Etxahun Domao kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mario Balotelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Przemyslaw Snaza was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
