The penalty shot was made by 贺平政, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of A A Arizona's Edson de Souza. 0-1. Edson de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Aceto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldinho Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Aceto came free, but Edson de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Felice Aceto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
