Dani Galiana struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Florian Pinti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astillero del Guayas. Dani Galiana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Pinti having to interfere. Astillero del Guayas were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Talenti Roma Calcio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulizes Sola took the corner. The corner led Astillero del Guayas's Ulizes Sola to fire away a dangerous shot which Florian Pinti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Talenti Roma Calcio's Florian Pinti got control of the ball when Javier Landeras tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walter Huarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Barbato, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Walter Huarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Biavati in the 23rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Cristoforo Biavati put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Walter Huarte. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when Talenti Roma Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Barbato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Huarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermanno Marcolongo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The supporters of Talenti Roma Calcio booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paredes Campderros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 minutes of play, Talenti Roma Calcio's Cristoforo Biavati made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Huarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulizes Sola kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Cristoforo Biavati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulizes Sola made a kick off. Astillero del Guayas's Walter Huarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Barbato in the 53rd minute of play. Walter Huarte made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Beppe Cherubini sent off a good shot on target. Ermanno Marcolongo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Huarte having to make a save. Pablo-Enrique Oneca hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes, Talenti Roma Calcio's Ermanno Marcolongo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walter Huarte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talenti Roma Calcio reached it. Florian Pinti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dani Galiana in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Walter Huarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristoforo Biavati. 71 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Biavati lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Walter Huarte. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Pellegrini during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frank Pellegrini hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ulizes Sola, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Cristoforo Biavati put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Walter Huarte. After a rather tough play, Talenti Roma Calcio's Beppe Cherubini got a free kick in the 90th minute. Fabiano Paoletti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Cristoforo Biavati made a precise shot to the right of Walter Huarte. Astillero del Guayas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Talenti Roma Calcio had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
