AM United's Armindo Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, Yofré AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Bidun to maneuver through the defense. Armindo Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Mero having to interfere. Armindo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Itzaina during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Yofré AFC's zone, Gervásio Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Mero came out of the goal and Gervásio Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Yofré AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Oliveira came free, but Aaron Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Viana in the 26th minute of play forced Yofré AFC's goalkeeper Aaron Mero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Artur Mendes from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Aaron Mero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Xavier Modesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hildeberto Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Silbestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Xavier Modesto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Aaron Mero made a huge save. After having played for 39 minutes, Armindo Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AM United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armindo Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The wind increased when Delmiro Silbestre made the kick off in the second half. Aaron Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Heitor Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yofré AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Flavio Itzaina hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Artur Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. AM United's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Mero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armindo Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Xavier Modesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Yofré AFC booed when AM United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerónimo Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. AM United's Lisandro Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Yofré AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Guerau to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Oliveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Mero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Oliveira ran back to his position shaking his head. AM United were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Yofré AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Artur Mendes took the corner. In the 84th match minute, AM United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervásio Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Heitor Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Silbestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lisandro Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AM United were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
